Ostrich 1 causing problems - loosing bin?

Hi all!
I have some strange problems with my Ostrich 1.0

I'm using it in my 1989 Pontiac TransAM GTA ( 383 Stroker engine ) with a 165' ecm and a 6E-style binary I got from "Orr89RocZ"

In the last days I did some minor changes in that bin file ( with tuner pro rt 4.14 ) and the engine ran pretty good (nice idle, no knocking, afr values while driving between 15-11.5 depending on throttle position) exept a lack of power (maybe a little bit better than a stock L98 at the moment, i would guess ~220-230rwhp, didn't have my gtech with me.

After a little test drive of about 5-6 miles, I stopped the engine, went out for a smoke, came back, and unfortunately the engine cranked, idled at ~200-300rpm and stalled.
After re-uploading the same bin twice, it ran well again.

Something is wrong, but it is not the batteries ( I checked them some minutes ago, all 3 of them have 1.48v left).

Any ideas?

Oh, if thats important: I did the wbo2 hack , so my linear analog wbo2 (NGK/Powerdex) output is injected to port D8 in my ecm. but the "wideband bin" seemed to have some problems (if i remember correctly, kind of the same problem like i stated before, 200-300rpm idle and stalling).

Thanks in advance for your help!

greetings from Germany

Alex

And when you blew the bin back into the Ostrich, it ran fine again?

It is a checksum issue. Disable the checksum(I forget how you do it) and it will be fine. Thats a known issue I fought with for a few years until I tripped across the reason last year when doing other tuning.

Thanks for your help.
I managed to disable the checksum and so far there hasn't been a "reboot" yet.
