I'll volunteer to guinea pig my LS / SBC for testing the flash of an '0411. I need to flash the PCM.

goddamnit don't you hate it when a thread you find gets REALLY juicy and then you go to the next page and it's a totally anticlimactic letdown.

BUMP because I'd buy the aforementioned cable from moates if it wasn't vaporware. Such a shame the big vendors are so much $$$ for a license.

I guess I'll be desoldering and socketing a 0411 before I can swap the 4.8l I brought home yesterday. (because it's going to live in front of a 4l80e now).

I've been saying it for a few years now, the availability of an inexpensive OBDII programming cable solution is imminent. Last I heard( a few months ago) is that the chip used in the newer versions of the OBDlink SX scantool is possibly going to be able to flash PCM's through the port soon. The chip is the STN1110, and you can buy it by alone for 9.99 at scantool.net.

One way or another it will happen soon, but untill then cinstalling a ziff socket on an extra 411 may be a good idea.

Moates Fileman is now hosted at GearHead-EFI.com but the 0411 project folder is empty.

If you need a place to store these I can set this up for you.

There are a couple LSx ADX files done.

Right now I can not find the XDF files anywhere.

Hi dimented24x7 and thanks for your work on the ls1 defn files. I realize that this request may be several years too late, but are you still making these available? I cant find them on the Omnituner site.
Best Regards
Richard

Its too bad this never came to be. Still costs ~$500 for an HPTUNERS to tune a near 20-yr old computer....
