cooling fan/fan 1 not working

id post in the cooling section but ive tested all my connections to my cooling fan and it all works, relay works, etc. ive looked thru all the param's(S-AUJP) and set everything i could see. i lowered my enable/disable temps for fan 1 as well. when i tested the fan circuit from pin E8 i didnt see any voltage. i tested at the relay and at the ecm. am i missing something? that was the only connection i didnt even cut throughout my harness swap. thanks in advance!

How do you have the relay wired?

The efan trigger to the relay from the ECM is a ground trigger.

the trigger from E8 is on pin 85
12V is on 30
load/fan is on 87
ground is on 86

No.

If you have the ECM connected to 85, then you need a positive ignition signal to pin 86.
