MAT sensor temp not changing
ive noticed that my MAT sensor is stuck at 64-66*F or 18.5-19.5*C at any ambient temperature. ive tryed 2 different "cage" style sensors with the same results. most of my tuning has been accomplished during the day with ambient temps of ~85*F. when the ambient temp drops down to ~-65-70*F, the engine starts to lean out pretty bad. i can confirm the resistance of the sensor later on when i get home but i was wondering if it may be a problem with the ADX. Thanks!

Re: MAT sensor temp not changing
Im interested in this as well.
I was looking at a wiring diagram and it looks like the mat, cts and tps are all grounded together. Can it be that when one sensor goes, the other sensors get screwy readings?
Im having a similar problem. Mine changes, but very little only increased 9 degrees in about a 10 minute datalog (idling in my driveway).

Re: MAT sensor temp not changing
You can test the sensor with distilled ice water. When you dip it in, the sensor should indicate 0 deg C, or near to it. The sensing element is fairly large, so it changes pretty slowly with changing air temps.
To the OP. its also possible that the ADX is incorrect, or your using the wrong ADX thats showing something else as the IAT when no IAT is present. The 7747 does not normally use an IAT, and IIRC, there is no code inside the $42 to handle it. Even in the calibrations for the TBI cars with the IAT, the IAT does very little as far as fueling goes. Its just a small table that changes teh fueling a little.

Re: MAT sensor temp not changing
Likely an ADX import error. There was an older V5 build that when an ADS was import and converted to an ADX, the MAT sensor seemed to not get imported properly.
I believe it was the equation was not imported correctly. Yo9u can compare what the equation is in V4 to V5 and update accordingly.

Re: MAT sensor temp not changing
I just looked at my ADX, I don't have time to test it right now, but I think the one I have is an incorrect one.
I looked at my $59 ADX, and it shows X as the conversion, but also has the "send to look up table" box checked.
I'll test my ADX tonight and let you know.
