Need Help, TuneproV5 will not show ALDL data
Hi everybody,
I just got the car back together after doing a cam, head swap, and LT-1 Intake conversion. She really rock n rolls, but extremely rich. The only changes I have made is to upgrade to Tunerpro Version 5. I had Version 4.13 working like a champ before. Now I can't get the data coming through the ALDL cable to show on my dashboard within Tunerpro. Even the items list and base dashboard are showing nothing. I have downloaded and reloaded the .adx and even the .xdf files to no avail.
I think I have a bad set-up or the wrong thing clicked on/off within the ADX editor. See attachment .jpg
I am using the AutoProm, the emulator works, I can read and burn chips, and I have even tried using the wrong switch configuration just to make sure I didn't get something crossed. I just can't get the data to show up.
Here is what I have: (all from tunerpro.net)
1)Super_8dm2.xdf
2)1227730_8D.adx
None of these files have changed since my upgrade to Ver5.
Here is the confusing part, the 'DA Connected' will connect when the 10ohm switch is in either position. Also, TP will not connect unless the AutoProm is in the active mode. Which I thought you were supposed to be able to datalog without the AutoProm having to be emulating.
I also went back to the version 4.13 I have saved, and everything works. But I want the datatracing, so I need Ver5 to work.
Can anyone help me out here.
Even a link to a good read or post would help, I am still searching around for those threads/post that have had the same issues.

Re: Need Help, TuneproV5 will not show ALDL data
Well, I gave up for a while, tried again, wrote a few messages, gave up, then this last Friday I downloaded the XDF and ADS again (x4 times since turning the key) and it works. I am thinking that it was a setting in the ADX or a naming provision that was not allowing this sucker to work. Still don't know and at this point I am just happy to be seeing that the motor is not too lean at RPM.
THe only issue I am seeing is that the Tach and the TunerProRT is off. The Tach is reading about 350RPM higher than TPRT, don't know why. If anyone has seen this brefore and knows a solution please do tell.
