7165 Prom in 7730???

7165 Prom in 7730???
Ok so its been a long time. Finally getting back into everything and after a lot of research I have what is most likely a stupid question.
Yesterday i picked up another TPI setup (ASM and edelbrock parts, small cam, blah blah blah), it came with a 7165 that has the smog with EGR removed, it is a MAF setup. Im using a 7730 on my current TPI same as above except it is a SD set up and I will be sticking to SD with the new motor.
Can i swap proms since my 7730 has all emissions still remaining (dont need or want them currently)? Just looking for a quick solution until I get everything necessary to tune myself.

$32, $32B or $6E in a 730 will put the ecm in LHM.
