since ive only used 8D exclusively with the T5, i have almost no idea how the logics work with the auto trans. what would i need to change to use 8D with a 3spd auto?

 

There's really no control other than the converter lockup.
The IAC settings are different to make running smoother with the added loads from the converter.
If its not a lockup trans, just run the stock auto trans IAC settings and get the VSS to work and it should be fine.

well today i tried running the car(86 fiero se v6) with it but was unsuccessful. TP connects but everything blinks like a christmas tree. went through and set everything up for 6 cyl, injectors, cyl vol, etc. wouldnt fire. found out that map signal was on wrong pin, the factory harness has 2 wires for map. switched it over, and for some reason the map voltage was at 2.5v(key on engine off), maybe since im 2500ft above sea level. not sure if its a bad ground but ran out of time, had to go to work. ill try to get a datalog to show whats going on, the $88 adx connects but not the SAUJP 8D, even though everything is wired exactly the same. id like to use SAUJP because i know it fairly well now so any glitches can be cleaned up faster, and it has WB capes. thanks!
