MAf $6e Mid throttle bog

Car: 1988 Iroc-Z Red T-tops
Engine: 305 TPI LB9 55k miles
Transmission: Auto 700r4
Axle/Gears: 2.73 posi
MAf $6e Mid throttle bog
Working with a 88 $6E TPI stock auto
I know not perfect setup but maint all done. When cold in OL or even warmed up OL and after tuning the AE Decay and AE vs TP I have great launch feel. I can stomp it and smoke tires, fish tail.
off idle cruise in CL around 1000-1500 same thing light stab it will grab and sound great take off and hold
just cruising around from non-off-idle like 30mph and over 1500 not paying attention and stomp on it bogs before catching
if I slow a little or sort of feather the stab it will hook better
any idea, without WB, what would but tables to look at to improve mid non WOT throttle response.
also if it is hitting WOT it works better from a off idle slow crawl not as well from mid throttle mid MPH? any ideas?
