Re: 0411

Gotta find a pcm and buy the cam sensor and crank sensor, crank 24x ring, timing cover, and or cam sensor distributor housing for it to work.
Efi connection has the old cam sensor distributor for lsx coils or they sell the billet cover that places cam sensor on the nose of cam. No longer using distributor side.

Need ls1 harness from some lsx vehicle.

You will have to cut and rewire to fit engine bay and to integrate it to the stock gauges or whatever gauges you desire. Its an involved project but not super complicated as long as you can read and understand wiring diagrams

I think the simplest way with an SBC to go 0411 with CNP is to get a new vortec timing cover (~$22.00), use a vortec distributor for the cam sensor and to drive your oil pump, and get the small diameter 24x ring from efi connection.

You'll have to use a timing gear/balancer combo that works with the slight thickness of the sensor ring (same as a vortec).

Yes thats likely best way but gotta be careful with the vortec cover on older blocks. It doesnt seal well and requires some rtv work in certain areas.

Also there are very few balancers that work with vortec cover/crank sensor combo. Ati super dampers do that have the thin 1.2-1.3" thick shell. Most others are over 1.6"-1.7" and are to thick. They hit the sensor before goin on
