Having trouble data logging with aldu1

I can not get my aldu1 to work properly. When I plug it into my car it says I am connected, but it constantly toggles between connected and not connected and the error counters just continue to rise. I have configured my usb port based on the information on moates website. Switching from 10k to open does not solve this problem. I have tried 2 different 6e adx files and get the same results with both. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong

My car has the 16198259 ecm with a custom chip from TPIS.

Re: Having trouble data logging with aldu1

without being plugged into the car, can you connect via usb to the adu1 and in tunerpro it beeps and says hardware connected on the bottom? If not I find that I have to go into preferences-general- and make sure autoprom interface is selected sometimes this gets lost.

Otherwise if it connects and all is good then it is not the PC/hardware it is the ecm side.

if you get it connected, like above, then the next thing I would do is just try to read/write/burn to a chip on the chip reader make sure you have the right address and offsets.

As far live data I do not try to plug into the ecm for live tuning. i just datalog via the obd1 port and hit data connection it turns blue and I am live and it streams I hit record if I want to save. I then review edit the bin and burn and repeat

I have both my dip switches set to the outside of the apu1.

88 165ECM with $6e and $32b files My $32b was finicky though the $6E has been very reliable
