Reading material?

So diving back into my camaro. The 305 is starting to die. Not a big thing as I want a 350 anyway. I was thinking a dying stock motor (oil spitting from exhaust and idle issues) would be the perfect platform to teach myself how to tune on. What's the worst I'm going to do? Kill it quicker? These boards are awesome and full of great information the problem is I can't take them underway with me. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a book (or 2) that I could take with me so I can continue to learn while away. Come back off deployment with at least a clue of how to go about data logging and tuning my car so I ask rookie questions not dumb questions. Anything programs to down load so I can use my laptop for more than movies? Thanks.

I'd start with the stickies at the top of this DIY section for the 7730 ECM (I see you have a 1992). Can you print them out and take them with you?

And btw, thank you for your service! It's because of you guys we can all sit here and enjoy the freedom to have fun with our Camaros.
