Modifying the memcal?

I ordered the APU1 from Craig's sight and forgot to order the g1 adapter is there a way to modify my memcal to use the APU1 and the flash proms?

Re: Modifying the memcal?

Yes, remove the PROM and solder in a socket. This is what we did before all this nifty tuning stuff was available.

I didn't unsolder my chip, just clipped it off short and soldered in the socket.
