Injector BPW

What would be considered the highest usable BPW for a Bosch 3 injector? In PE mode high rpm/kpa, I'm seeing mid 9's.

Re: Injector BPW

It is easier to go by injector duty cycle (DC%). At 6,000 RPM the injectors fire every 10 msec. So a mid 9's PW puts the DC% around 95. Which is typically too high.

Re: Injector BPW

I would have made my own thread if i knew how on this site. Hi I'm trying to find out how to calculate bpw/bpc? For 89 c1500, I know I need 43 psi at the injectors for 400fwhp. I have a holley 670 cfm tbi unit 65lbs/hr mini delphi injectors. I have the 255 lph wal bro fuel pump, derect fit.
And an after market spring installed in the regulator. Yes I can get above 43psi. Permanent gauge install. I am using my 7747 ecu $42 mask with a 350 ci bin file. I can datalog and my ostrich 2 is on its way and will be tampering with it in the next few days. Yea I modded the ecu for eeprom chips. I have a 376.99(377) stroker... 350 with 400 crank and 3.75 rods. The none bored 383 sbc. This is my first build. Second vehicle. Geo storm gsi 92 maaaan that was I fun little car. Went to a yard.. /: now I'm on my truck and I really would love to have this on the road. Tunerpro rt 5, 5.9 xdf and 5.2 adx. How do I know if the bpw and or constant is correct??

Re: Injector BPW

The equation with an example:

; Val = 1461.5 * (VOL/RATE)
; VOL = Vol of 1 Cylinder in liters, (0.7125l)
; RATE = Injector flow in gms/sec
; 5.7l = 7.71 gms/sec (61.2#/HR)

Note that there is a single BPC value for when the EGR is inactive, and a 3D table of values for when the EGR is active.

RBob.

P.S. to start a new thread, on the upper left is a button just above the list of threads in that particular forum.

Re: Injector BPW

Forgive me but I have another questions..
In the 7747 what does what? Base pulse width = ?
Injector bias? What are the differences between BPW and BPC?
