When I purchased my car it came with an aftermarket chip, one of the infamous ADS "Super Chips." I don't have the stock chip for the car, so I don't know what the Broadcast Code of the original chip is. I have a 1986 IROC, 305 TPI, automatic.

1) What is the Broadcast Code of the stock chip?
2) What BIN file would I need?
3) What ECU file would I need?

If I understand this correctly, I could answer questions 2 and 3 myself if I knew the answer to question 1... correct? This is the first that I've started playing around with the onboard computer, so I'm still learning. Thanks a lot, guys.

 

Unless you have the original chip, it is hard to say what you original BIN is. There were so many of them that year. Here is a link you can look up to see all the possible broadcast codes with the varios models and options.
