Relocated MAT and AE tables

Whenever I visit this forum, I nearly always find something else to play with on my calibration. Recently its been about AE and the effect it has on the "shape" of the VE curves. My LT5 has been ported(heads and intake), has more aggressive intake and exhaust camshafts, headers w 3" ID exhaust blah blah blah.
Looking at the VE tables, you can see where the transition for the cams begins in the shape of a trough right at about 2800rpm. My MAT sensor has been re-purposed as an IAT just downstream of the radiator and I have modified the MAT Comp table to account for the change in location. In going over my current cal, I noticed that I have not modified the AE MAT table however. As you can see by the attached table, the AE MAT Mult. is active at the lowest temps. With the relocated MAT, these are the temps the motor is most likely to see at typical CTS operating levels. IOW, in the stock cal, the MAT AE multiplier for normal operating conditions is ZERO. However, the ECM appears to be adding AE based on the fact that it is reading a MAT Temp of 8-15C even tho my coolant temps are at 80C or more.
Should I modify this table and in what way? I'm thinking I should zero out the AE MAT Mult. What effect would this have on the VE table?

Decided to make the change. Tomorrow will be dry and in the 40s, so we’ll see what happens.

Took the car out for some datalogging on a decent day. Ran well. No hiccups. Throttle response very crisp. Overall, just a fun car to drive.

Is that an improvement from before?

No I can’t say that it was. I was curious to see if reducing or eliminating any AE adder like MAT would make andufference in my throttle response or tip in.
as u can see fromt the table, it only added AE when IAT temps were fairly low. I was looking to reduce the affect of AE on the datalogging I was doing for fueling.
My MAT reading was in the 8C range during this particular session yesterday so it was relevant.
What DID seem to make a difference was setting the Option for Reset of BLM when in AE. At least from a SOTP perspective the change in throttle response and crispness was noticeable. I described it in another thread. The acceleration felt more “linear” after each upshift instead of the motor feeling as if it was starting its climb over again.

Yeah, the "reset INT during AE event" was a very noticeable improvement on my Miniram as well.
