IAT part number for EBL

*Edit* - I went ahead with the installation and it works perfectly. I used a 1/2" ID x 3/4 OD grommet from the hardware store and installed it into my intake piping just forward of the throttle body. It was quite easy to wire - just made a patch cable to the weatherpack connector for the MAT sensor on the TPI.

Quick question - going to relocate my IAT into my intake plumbing and wanted to ask if this part number will work? It's a GM 12160244. It's used on a TON of GM stuff as seen in this link:

https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-pa...ensor-12160244

I don't see a table to scale the IAT in the EBL so I'm assuming I have to use a sensor that has the same resistance range as the stock TPI MAT sensor. All the GM temps sensors pretty much the same?

I want to use this one because it's plastic with an open element so it won't heat soak like the brass units. Also really easy to fit it into my plumbing with a grommet. Same connector as the brass unit also.

TIA.

GD

Re: IAT part number for EBL

Yes, as you found out that one will work. Its first use was on the '92 LT1 Corvette.
