EBL and C68 Climate control

I've got a 91 Vette that I installed the EBL. Its worked great for getting the tune dialed in etc. My problem is that my "Security" light on the dash goes on and off with the movement of the TPS. Also I found out after hunting and AC problem that somehow the CCM is seeing starts and stops of the AC compressor then setting a 09 code, low refrigerant, and shutting down the AC system. AC system is fine, no leaks etc. When I install my stock computer back into the car, these problems go away and everything works great. Doesn't run as well as with the EBL, but the above problems go away. Somehow there is feedback from the EBL causing false input into the system causing these. I could live with the "Security" light with AC I can't.

I've communicated with RBob and we tried isolating B5 and B11 at the ECM and it didn't help. Has anyone else encountered this? I would love to continue to use the EBL if possible.

Chuck

use the ebl to tune the car, once happy with the tune burn a chip and throw stock ecm back in the car. Problem solved. Then just keep the ebl and chip burner for making changes later. At the end of the day the ebl isn't going to do anything the stock ecu and a memcal can do. Right?

That's what I've done. It seems to run as well other than the idle. I have a pretty strong cam and it liked the open loop idle with the EBL. I adjusted the O2 narrowing the voltage to help eliminate the EGR affect from the large cam in the stock ECM but it still isn't as smooth as the EBL in open loop.

I appreciate the input!
