On the 90 - 92 speed density systems can you use a 85 to 89 TPS sensor without any trouble

Yeah they're both just 0 to 5V.

, but with some manufacturers, sometimes even Delco, you may have to enlarge one or both of the mounting screw holes to ensure it's positioned so you're getting the required 0.54+v at closed throttle.

For some reason elongated hole 85-89 tps are actually cheaper than 90-92
