Purchasing Diacom Plus, any last minute info i need and where is best price?

Well since i could find no definitive information on too much else and needing a program applicable to 4 different GM ECM's I am purchasing DIacom + for use in collecting data for prom burning
Any thoughts on this?
how many people here use it already?
what do u like and dislike about it?


Second thng is cheapest source i ave found it thru is Ecklers at 489.99 is there anyone cheaper ?

That's the best price. Wish I knew about it...oh well
Anyways, plus is good since it works on so many vehicles.
The graphs are great but the interface could be updated.
The DOS only version is kind of old and way over priced considering the current freeware available. I also don't like the parallel port inteface. It forces you to have the hardware hooked up to the computer before you turn it on. This gets old real fast and is the reason I use winaldl currently. The advantage of serial port interfacing is that it doesn't require a restart of the computer. It just works whenever you plug the cable in. I hope the Diacom developers are reading this. They aren't getting any votes from the f-body camp that's for sure. I understand the whole wanting to scan different cars. I'm in the same boat now that I'm starting to tune other vehicles other than my own.
Good luck with it and make sure you change the colors, the blue and white is just WAY WAY too "80's", go with a red background and yellow text .
