165 ecm question

165 ecm question
So I may have screwed up. I thought I had a ecm from my 89 that I totalled, but I didn't so I ordered up a 165 and when I got it I realized it was for an 86 vette. Is there major differences in wiring and anything else??

86-89 tpi maf 1227165 ecm is the same the chip is different based on usage.
