Where can I get a 90/91/92 V8 ECM?

I may switch to speed density for my 395 project.

What are my choices?

1) GM 90/91/92 ECM
2) DFI
3) ??????????????

Any suggestions here?

You can get a 1227730 SD ECM from early 90s 3.1 V6 Cavaliers. Generally, wrecking yards ask for a price equivalent to the "core" charge from GM. Up here, they go for C$95 which would be around US$50-60; without a Memcal.

PS: Have you seen in that attachment how we address the "fuel problem" when we max the MAF @ 5,000 rpm? You might want to consider trying that before you do anything. Costs nothing to try, though I still prefer the "fine tuning" of the fuel tables SD offers. But it does give MAF guys "an option" that max the MAF.

For option 3), you might want to consider the Haltech programmable ECM.
