$8D Open Loop question
$8D Open Loop question
So in my efforts to incorporate more of the $DA3 LT1 calibration, I put in the LT1 open loop tables.
But unlike the VE tables, AE tables, PE tables, etc...which worked pretty much perfectly as-is, the open loop tables are not running well (open loop AFR %change vs Coolant and %change vs MAP). It runs extremely rich.
Trying to figure out why that is...
One thing I found in Tunerpro was this scalar in the $8D code that I don't see in the $DA3 code...
Loop OPEN Param, AFR % Change Scalar
The description reads...
NOT in PE:
0x45E=OPEN LOOP AFR % CHANGE .vs. TEMP (Def=Coolant)
0x41F=CHG OPEN LOOP F/A % CHG AT IDLE
0x420=OPEN LOOP FUEL/AIR % CHG .vs. MAP
0x46F=STARTUP ENRICH OFFSET .vs. SCALED MAT
DO NOT CHANGE UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!
Factory Default = 221
So the question is, how does this constant play with the OL fuel calculation?
