runing 2 bar map sensor on 1227747 ecm

using tuner pro to burn stock chips with great results
want to use 2 bar map sensor with gm 1227747 ecm for boost at later date want to get ecm timing and fuel dialed in before having to deal with boosted conditions

anyone using 1227747 ecm and 2 bar map sensor?

My thoughts...no one has really done it so better to start with a ECM that GM already ran it with boost. I'd look into the sy/ty stuff '749 or even a '7730 turbo sunbird.

Not possible, at least not without rewriting the assembly code for the ECM.

Better off, as stated above, starting with an ECM and mask that supports boost already. The problem will be that there was no OEM TBI with boost combination from GM, that I'm aware of.

ebl might use tbi and a 2 bar option? but you're using a 747 ecm, so I'm guessing it's controlling a electronic shifted tranny? so you'd have to piggy back the 2 ecm's to keep the tranny controls?

'7747 is engine only, no transmission control, other than torque converter lock up.

ahh it's been so long I'm getting my ecm numbers confused. I thought that was that one tbi truck ecm that did a 4l60 too.
