Date code relationship to release date?
Does anybody know how to decode the date code (and sequence number) bytes?
The release date is the number of days relative to the epoch date of 12/30/1899.
Example (from ACKY): The release date is listed in the bcc lookup tables as 31797 or 01/20/1987. The date code is 0x0576 and the sequence number is 0x2CC3. Any correlation between the date code, sequence number and release date? I don't see any obvious pattern here.
