Picking a bin file to develope.

So I am very new at tuning, and wanted to run an idea past the group to get confirmation/ feedback on this. My question is, if I am building a 3.1l, and using a 1991 camero intake, and according to the internet a cam that is nearly identical to the now defunct 3.4 crate engine, should I start with a bin file that is optimized for the 3.4 cam, and tweak that, or go with the camero bin file? My instinct is saying go with the one with the 3.4 cam. Any thoughts on what will be easiest to do?

If I can't manage to get a ebl flash 2 I will use a 7730 ecm.

So buy a ebl use provided bins or a 730 and start with a $88 mask bin. The 3.4 wasn’t used with the 730 ecm. Start with datalogging and adjust ve as needed.
