AutoProm BIN upload / download?

I believe the hard drive on my laptop just bit the dust today. It wasn't hooked up to anything when it happened; I was trying to boot it up so I could create another data log file to write to. Needless to say, it won't even boot up.

The laptop had the latest version of the bin I was working on, which I had been "updating" to the AutoProm in real time.

My question is - does the AutoProm retain the last "updated" bin in it's memory, and is there a way for me to retrieve it so I don't have to start all over again?

Thanks very much!
Dan

Did you try starting it in the SAFE mode?

You might want to try it. If you can get it there try to make yourself a copy of that bin before doing anything else.

It should have the latest copy of whatever bin you saved.

Yes the autoprom will still have the bin in it. All you need to do is get the TunerPro installed on another machine with the Autoprom usb drivers and you should be able to connect the Autoprom and have Tunerpro see it. Then just goto the emulation menu and have it download the bin from the autoprom. Save the bin to a file and you should now have a copy of the bin.
