27sf256

Im working on an 86 corvette (1227165 ecm 16k file). It was dyno tuned years ago and has a Moates adapter with a 27sf256 chip. I need to read the chip but my Burn2 does not have settings for that chip. What do I use for chip offsets? Same as 29c256?

So I select 27c128 in the menu, read chip, save buffer to file? That sounds too easy.

Yes, if read right the mask will show when looking at the buffer top row $32 or $6e etc.

Re: 27sf256

Thanks for the help. I just got out my prom stuff again after many years to help out a friend. He has a 383 super ram that was dyno tuned years ago. Sure hate to screw up that chip. Plan is to read the chip then put it away. I can burn a new one to play with. I've forgotten so much about it . I'ts so much easier with my EBL Flash.
