I wanted to do one more thing to the tune...

Disable the SAM. But I wanted to know how you did yours (I read elsewhere that you disabled it).

When I look at the parameters and the factory AUJP values, I'm a bit puzzled.. (this is from S_AUJP v7).

SAM Param, Disable BLM Update if Coolant Temp > 219 F

SAM Param, Disable BLM Update if Coolant Temp < 198 F

So what does this mean? SAM is only used when the coolant temp is between 198 and 219F?

Or do you simply set the high and low limits to 128?

From my notes. I disabled SAM a long time ago, so I did not remember exactly how to do it. But this is what my notes said:



SAM and BLMs are the biggest pain in the **s IMO. Inaccurate and antiquated. With SAM disabled, at least start-up, open loop and PE (WOT) are consistent. BLMs are inaccurate dues to 1) too big of cell area, 2) late adjusting and 3) averages are full of irrelevant data.
