EBL P4 with stand alone trans controller Q

I have the ebl p4 running everything. I went from the 700r4 to a 4l60e with a stand alone controller. Would you flip option word 2 bit 7 TCC off to indicate a manual trans? Or?

Just curious, why you would change yours to a manual in the tune vs leaving the stall saver logic alone ?

That's basically what I'm asking-what advantages/disadvantages are there to each. Since the trans control/TCC gears seen etc is seperated.
How would stall saver logic be related/ still be valid/usefull? And doesn't stall saver logic run irregardless if manual trans checked?

I would think it would be a good idea do leave the automatic bin alone. Just make sure you still have a 4Kppm signal to the ecm even if that means a Dakota digital sgi-100bt. I don’t know the effects of changing the flag. You might not have p/n adder if changed. Always learning more about $8d based masks . Just my two cents.

Good question...I have the EBL Flash 2, had a 700r4 and a JagsThatRun 2 PRS. I'm in the process of installing a 4l80e this winter with a stand alone controller, never thought if anything needed to be changed in EBL. Hmm.

Iirc the flash 2 needs a 2k ppm. To prevent stalling and bucking and to maintain a good idle the ecm needs to have a Vss signal. Just not fully understanding the question to change the transmission flag

You might want to leave that alone, don't disable it. Although the 4L60e does not care if it's enabled or not, switching to the manual logic will change the way the P4 handles idle airflow and DFCO, which will somewhat hinder drivability if you don't know how to compensate for it elsewhere in the tune...
