WooHoo

Well, the major batch of mods went in this weekend, and the BLM's are all 128 +/- 5, and the INT's seem to follow suite nicely.
The throttle response is stunning now compared to before, and the rotten egg smell from the exhaust is now gone.
I will have to make a donation to Craig, his software is an excellent diagnostic tool.

Cheers

Richard

I'm sure Craig will be happy to hear that.

Congrats on your results. Sure beats "cranking up the fuel pressure and advancing the distributor" and calling it "tuned".

But, since you now have success, you can do what many of us also do - select the fuel pressure we PREFER to run and tune accordingly. I like 46-48 psi and I personally run 46.

Actually Glenn, thats what I am running for pressure with the vacuum disconnected (46) , and it works out at 40 with it connected.
Right now it pulls hard from 1000 rpm up to almost 5000 rpm.
Even at 35 in overdrive, without dropping it to 3rd, it will accelarate smoothly.
I will be going to the dyno when the weather clears up, possibly as soon as early next month. Would love to know what the power curves are (hoping for maybe hi 14's ? ), and also track times, but that will have to wait until spring.
Cheers

Richard
