Really wierd question

During dyno runs on my 88 GTA, the ECM is commanding the torque converter to lock up at around 4000 rpm (approx 100 mph), this really screws up the horsepower curve right at the busy part and causes it to drop off prematurely.
Any suggestions?

Cheers

Richard

You could lock it for the whole run through the pins in the ALDL port.
