Hey guys,
I have been trying to tune my car by first getting some logs using Craigs great software. I have used it before and it works great. Unfortunatley, lately I have been having some problems. When I connect the laptop, IBM thinkpad, it goes hooks up no problem. Then after about 15 sec or so it stops receiving data. Then a bit longer it starts again. This goes on and on. I have found that if I hit the 1 or the spacebar it starts responding again. Its kinda frustrating, especially because I have a new setup I am trying to get straightened out. I am currently using the newest version of Craig's software. Any help in sorting this out would be greatly appreciated. Also, I thought I should add, that all the other devices have been disabled, still has the same responses. Is there software available that will monitor the com ports and see if and what is interupting the communication of that com, if that is the problem? Thanks guys.
