tps % to enable pe vs rpm

What % do you enable pe@ what rpm.I put them at 65%@ 2000rpm.Much lower and pe will be enabled under normal cruise. The the gas milage suffers. But what is your exp with this table?

Depends on converter, for the lower rpm, and driver's likes.

On my GN they are all between 15-25%.
Yes, looser then stock converter, and enough *engine combo* to make serious HP easily. <g>.......

On my FBod in road racing trim they were all at 100%. So as to be sewing machine smooth coming off the apexes at WOT

Manuals will use higher percentages (usually), and below the converter stall generally uyou'll want really low percentages for PE enable. Again all subject to driving style.

I have mine set at 20-50%, increasing with RPM. Grumpy explains it quite well, as it depends on the engine's needs, converter, gearing, etc. If you're at 65% throttle for normal cruising, then something's seriously wrong. It should be more like 5% throttle (if that) to maintain a steady speed, varying between 0-50% throttle in stop-n-go traffic (more if you're lead-footed like me).

I guess its more like 60% will effect my milage.I don't mean my tps is 65% all the time.Just when I have to slow down and speed up.I live in a city so I have to keep the pe around 65% to save gas.So I have learned that the lower the tps enables pe, the lower your gas milage. Is this right ,grumpy?I drive over 60 miles a day in my bird.I burn several chips a day. This just seems to be one thing I have experience.
