Injectors=Injectors?

If a custom chip is calibrated for 24# Ford Motorsport injectors; would it be ok if I really had 24# Accel Injectors? I know the slight difference in fuel Pressure, but aside from that will it be ok?

Why not get the eprom equipment and "tune it" right? Chances are, your "custom eprom" is not optimal anyway.

Will your car "run" with the "custom eprom", probably. Will it run optimally, no. Eprom burning is about getting the most power that the engine can possibly deliver. A less than optimal eprom is "throwing HP away". The further away your eprom is from optimal, the more HP you are throwing away.

Also, depending if you have SD, the VE Tables almost always can use a little tuning and both MAF and SD generally need some work on the spark tables. There is no way a "custom eprom" where the "writer" had no access to your car can optimize your spark curve. There is a very narrow margin where a few degrees is the difference between "optimal performance", detonation or less than optimal performance.

Most guys that get into eprom burning find the spark tables generally take the most time to get that delicate balance, regardless if it is MAF or SD. Remember, the "custom eprom writer" doesn't want a lawsuit or complaints, so they are generally conservative on the spark tables as there is no way on G0D's earth they are going to get the spark curve that close without "hands on" access to your car.

Most guys the buy a "custom eprom" generally are happy to have their car "run okay". They have no idea the difference between "running okay" and "running optimally"' until they do their own eprom tuning.
