injector ignorance

I have read before that the Ford injectors will fit in the GM TPI intake and fuel rails. I have seen a few posts discussing the 24# SVO injectors. I have a few stock Ford 5.0 injectors lying around and compared them to the GM injectors. The Ford inj. are noticably shorter. Do you need special o-ring (seals) to run the Ford inj. in a 96-92 GM TPI setup? Are the SVO injectors longer than the regular Ford 5.0 injectors?
My GM inj. are getting tired and the Ford inj. are a lot cheaper.
Thanks,
J

The SVOs are a little shorter, but they do work.

Yes, the SVO injectors are a bit shorter. However, the all important o-ring does seal correctly. I was very carefull about this point. I have no fuel leaks.
