memcal questions
I got a memecal out of a MAf car in the junkyard. I am running a 92 Z28 ECM. Can I use this memcal or do I need to keep looking for a memcal from a SD car? If I need to get a new one does anyone know where to find one?

What about a memcal from a 90-92 V-6 car? I understand I would have to get a new chip but I am wondering about the other two chips in there. so would a 90-92 V-6 memcal work?

The 'other two chips' are important. Yes, it will run with the V6 memcal IF the PROM image is replaced. No, it will not run well. I have tried this before and the engine runs, but barely(even with the correct PROM image in place). You will want to find a memcal that was designed for a V8. If you have a SD and a spare memcal for a V8 MAF car, you would have to exchange the EPROMS and add the conformal coated chip to the V8 MAF memcal. I think a new memcal goes for like 40 bucks.
