A couple quick questoins.......

Ill be making my first chips this weekend. Ive been reading and searching information for quite some time here.

Ill be using Tunercat with the ARAP bin the $6e.

1) I need to disable the cold start injector. Ive seached all over turnercat and just dont see it. Where is it hiding?

2) Im running a 383 and Ive read about increasing the setting for cylinder volume. Again, I just dont see this or is this setting only related to SD cars?

3.) Looking at the Spark Advance at WOT vs RPM. It has the following defaults:

rpm deg
400 0.0
1200 1.1
2000 1.1
3200 9.1
4800 1.1

To interpret this, does it mean it will add 9.1 degrees advance from 3200-4799 RPM's? Just want to make sure im reading this right. Since I easily rev to 5500 now, Im thinking I can increase the 1.1 setting at 4800...

Thanks for any help!

1) The cold start injector is not controlled by the computer, so there is no place to change it.
2) Yes that setting is not in there. It is in the SD ones.
3) Dont know...havent touched spark yet

You have to physically disable the cold start injector, or remove it altogether and block off the holes. I first disabled mine by removing the 3-amp "crank" fuse, but you could just remove the injector plug for it.

The values are interpolated between the RPM points, so it'll add 9.1 degrees at 3200 rpm, 5.1 degrees at 4000 rpm, and 1.1 degrees at 4800 rpm. Anything beyond 4800 rpm will just stay at 1.1 degrees added, same with the main spark advance table once you exceed the RPM or LV8 range. You might not want to increase the value at 4800 rpm until you've figured out what your total advance (main plus WOT) is, check for knock, then determine if you really need more spark advance up there. Beware that the main spark advance and WOT (aka: Power Enrichment) tables are quite agressive in the ARAP bin, so you might want to decrease than 9.1 value first and look at the rest of the table compared to your existing table. Every engine is different and has differing spark advance requirements...
