rahter than ask the question which i did sometime back and noone responded probably because they did not understand, i will just explain what happens and see if anyone else has this same problem. lets set the stage-cruising in an 86 IROC tpi and you need to come to a stop or slow down-take your foot of the gas and start braking then down shift into 3rd or 2nd-when the tach needle hits 1000rpm the enngine will suge/accelerate to 1500rpm then start its final decent . when braking or slowing down the last thing you want is a slight acceleration. does anyone else's car do this?
