1988 350 TBI Camaro - HELP!
Guys - my Sport Coupe is nearly set w/its new motor except i'd like to toy with my computer to get more hp out of the new motor. I'm running the stock 305 computer right now, are there any places i could buy a chip (companies?) or individuals with reputable histories of burning chips? Thanks in advance. I need my comp. re-done and my ignition system strengthened b4 i go racing..

$300 for the eprom burning equipement plust whatever it costs to get an 8746 ecm from a 89-92 TBI f-body. Or if you can find the 7747 for less, go with that ecm.
That's all you need. Considering a custom eprom costs over $300 and it's a one time deal....do yourself and your car a big favor and burn your own eproms. It's not rocket science, it's simply tweaking things to improve the fuel and timing.

Okay - so is the 7747 all i would need? Would that just be plug-n'-play? or would I have to program that also? And 1 last thing - IF i were to buy the burning equipment, where would i go? Is that the stuff i see in Summit Jegs that looks like little computers? (I kno, i'm sooo technical)
