I've looked around and can't find any of these at a decent price unless I buy in bulk. I've tried the "free sample" method and some companies laughed, others agreed and then they never showed up in the mail. I have everything I need except for a 29C256 eprom. If anyone has some spare ones that they don't need, I will gladly pay you for them. I'm looking for at least two of them. Hopefully this won't get locked but I've been ready to burn my first prom for weeks now and am getting very anxious and impatient with the whole situation. My car really needs a custom prom. I just scored a lot of ICs with 11 27C128s, 10 27C256s and a whole pile (50+) of other chips & microprocessors along with a huge pile of oscillators.... for $16 shipped.

Gotta love Ebay.
