Will my prom need to get re-programmed since...

Hello everyone, I recently purchased an eagle stroker kit for my '88 vette L98, I will be using the LT4HOTCAM, retaining the factory TPI intake, port factory heads, 1.6 r.r's. The car has a 700R4 tranny(shift kit), 3:27 rear, headers, all emission hardware has been removed, do not need to pass smog test, flowmaster exhaust, removed cats, my question is after the engine is installed, will the factory chip be able to handle the new cam etc. Will I need to get it re-programmed?

Yes, if you want to get what your engine is capable of.

This board is to LEARN how to burn eproms, so I suggest you start doing some reading on burning eproms. There has been at least five questions like this in the last two days. I suggest you do some reading.

PS: Don't ask people to burn you an eprom, this is NOT what this board is all about. First, you are likely going to get ripped off - we have trolls that cruise this board looking for guys just like you. Second, unless the person burning the eprom spends a lot of "hands-on" access to your car, your car may run okay but it still will be far from optimal.

I have been able to improve EVERY eprom guys have gotten from the supposed "experts" like Ed Wright and Formato. If you look at the VERY FIRST POST on the Board about "Traxion's Prom intro" (Post number 1) you will find out how to burn an eprom.

Just remember, this board is to LEARN how to burn eproms. Posts that ask for referals or request eproms usually are deleted without any explanation.
