Just getting started, What equipment to i need?

I dont really feel like throwing my money out the wind to get a custom chip burd everytime i do something different. So i was wondering what equipment do i need in order to burn to make my own chip? How much does it cost of all the equipment all said and done? Are there any tricks to know how to make a chip? Thanks guys for the help

Start here --> https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/promintro.shtml

Also, I suggest reading a lot of the posts on the board over the last year. There has been so much discussed that it could almost be a book. But you really need to do some reading, and past posts are GREAT info.

No problem. As you are going through all this "stuff", feel free to post specific questions to clarify things.

Remember, WE ALL started out as beginners at one time or another (except maybe Bruce...he was born that way).
