Ignition Sys. or Ignition coil...
1989 2.8
My engine is stock, but I would like to upgrade the ignition.
Should I get the Ignition Coil first or the Ignition System?
I don't wanna get both right now because of $$$.

When you say ignition system are talking about an CD box such as MSD ? If so get the MSD coil first & the box later.

ignition coil will help definitely, worth the small $(a little better mileage and better responsiveness). box not necessary, especially with a stock motor, won't really do that much for the $, unless you are pumping out some serious power. I'd get a nice coil, nice cap rotor and wires and plugs, then call it a day.
