Hey guys,

I have been having countless problems with my car, even though its running again, I know that another electrical gremlin will pop up any second. The car is an 84 Firebird with a 355 and a non-CC Q-Jet.

The problem is the wiring for the engine electrical system. It was a real hack job (looks like the previous owner just spliced into the old EFI harness instad of rewiring completely when swapping engines). Now I basically want to rewire the entire charging system and but don't know much about electrics.

Is there any harness available out there for this, or is it simple enough that somebody here can walk me through it?

Get a Chilton book from the autoparts store. They are a basic maint. book specifically for your car.
