im tryin to swap my 90 rs to tpi. i got the tpi out of an 87. well the guage cluster is diffrent and so is the speed sensor on the tranny. i bought a painless wiring harness but it confussed me royally. so i was thinking can i alter it to a sd (the harness is for a maf) ? i have the pigtails of a sd wiring harness and i have the ecm of a sd i want my system to be sd. i also want the speedo cluster and speed sensor to work. can i just chop those wires out of my tbi harness? if any one can help me id really apreciate it. one other thing. does any one have the wiring diagrams for the color of the wires and where they go for both the maf and sd harnesses? thanks again

 

can i just cut and match the wires from the 87 harness to the pig tails of the 90 connetors? then just get rid of maf sensor wires and add the map sensor wires . oh also chop off the nineth injector? wont that do it? will it work? i know that there is a techincal artical on the site but its really cofusing. but the guy shares a harness for both systems. can i do it? thanks for the info if any.
