Flex-a-lite Fans, anyone running them?
after someone swapped out the engine(previous owner) for a 305, they forgot to up grade the fan. I tried to make it run full time with a toggle switch.. only to find that the fan is dead.
i know the V8's came with twin fan set up so i ordered the Flex-a-lite trimline electric fans (2 10" fans) from Summitracing part #FLX-310
does anyone have these?? any comments?? the guy at summit said he had a 3rd Gen 91 Z and said he had them on his. Just wanted to know if anyone has used them or currently has them.
any tips or anything on installation?

A friend of mine just got some. He says he regrets getting them as they seem cheap. He wished he had bought the Be Cool 11 inch fans instead.

I've had my dual 12" setup now for almost 6 years. My only complaint on them is the adj. thermostat. It took a crap on me 3 years ago and I ended up just using a manual switch to turn the fans on. I bought a new adj. thermostat this winter and so far am a little dissapointed. First it came with no instructions, Secondly contact Flex-a-Lite was a gigantic PITA, and third I've yet to get it to work.
So in conclusion, Fans themselves good, thermostat bad
