I was trying to search through old posts, but i kinda got tired when i hit the 50th one or so, so i decided to post. I have a 92 firebird. I had been having trouble w/both headlights. I can hear the little motor going zzzzzzzz even after i would turn them off. I could also hear another noise, like the headlight struggling to go down, and up. Now, the passenger's side stayed up. It won't go down anymore. The driver's side one will go up, but sometimes struggles making an odd sound. Do i need to replace the motors? Or can it be something else. Can someone tell me on what to look for b4 i go out and spend some $$$$ on motors. Thanx for any help guys!!

 

trying checking the contectors on the motor of the headlight. My headlight would not come up and we check the motor and found that contectors are worn. that worked for a while but they died again but that is because it needs to be cleaned properly.
