TPS voltage

I should know this, and I feel stupid having to ask, but.... My dad just purchased a 92 B4C and it is having idling problems. The computer stored a TPS code, and a EGR code. When I checked the voltage , it came up .79. On my 87 IROC which I am trying to sell, the TPS is adjustable, this one is not. Does anyone know if this car should have an adjustable TPS? Also, what is the voltage supposed to be? Also, is it possible that the EGR system is messing up the idle?

The TPS voltage should be .54 on a TPI motor. I'm not familiar with a 92, never worked on one. But, if it's non-adjustable then it automatically sets itself the first time it is installed and the key turned on. Yes, the EGR can affect the idle, so does the TPS voltage.
