Temp Gauge Sensor

During an engine swap, I have seemed to misplace the temp sensor in my 1988 GTA. I have a digital dash and I can not find the wire coming from the dash for the sensor either. Does anyone know what color the wire from the digital cluster is for the temp gauge? Also, where can I buy another sensor?

I have a similar problem. I have an 87 camaro with the 350 TPI. When I got the car the temp gauge never worked, when I looked into it more I found that who ever had the car before me had wired the temp sensor to one of the A/C harnesses (my car doesnt have a/c but the factory still installs wiring provisions for it) After looking in my service manual it says that it should be a black and yellow wire that comes around from the back of the engine in one of the larger tubes of wire. However, I have yet to find these wires in my car. Im pretty close to just opening up all the wiring to find it, which will also give me the opertunity to redo all of the wire loom and clean it up.

On a similar note, on the passenger side of the engine I found a weather tight plug with a black and a blue wire. Not sure what it goes to. My best guess is the AIR controls but it doesnt match any of the colors from the service manual. Any Ideas ??
