Guage problems Tpi to Carb????

Have a 85 Z28 that had 305 Tpi. Now I went to 350 with Carb setup. My problem is when I got it back from the shop. The fuel and oil press is not working. The needles are all the way maxed out on the guage. Did someone mess with the needles you think? How should I correct this. I have now idea how the wiring would go now. They totally took out my elec. fuel pump. Put in a mech. on the block. Is there a wire that leads from tank to the guage. Also what wires do I need for the oil pressure? One thing also is that they rigged up my elec fan to be on all the time. From ing. turn to shut down. Is this setup ok for now? If not how should I correct this? All the other guages tach, batt, temp, mhp. They all seem to be in fine order???? I need help and would like to use the old guages if possible. No after market crap.

Sounds like they grounded out the wires to the senders.

Actually when they peg, the connection to the sensor/sender is open (not connected). My oil psi gauge is pegged on my camaro because there is no sensor/sender for it, if you touch the wire to the block, it drops to 0.

Make sure there is a small 'bell-shaped' canister at the back of the intake (oil press gauge), if there make sure there's a wire attached.

There is a small weatherpack plug about where rear axle on the metal (where the backrest of the rear seats are), originally the fp/gauge sender (3 wires total) were plugged in there. The gauge wire is pink according to the diagram.
